Last weekend, I finally had a chat with John Ginder (we've been trying to coordinate our schedule for more than a year - it's not even funny how horrible our timing has been!). I was expecting a traditional interview, but things quickly took a turn for the unexpected when our discussion veered off into an almost philosophical debate about horror films, serial killers, music and the role the horror genre plays in our modern society.
You can listen to the discussion here.

Dead Central interview!
Thanks to the amazing Heather Wixson, I'm one of the featured filmmakers for Dead Central's Indie Horror Month. I have one thing to say: WOOOOOHOOOO! :D (Yes, I admit it, my inner horror nerd is still pinching itself!)

Gore-ific cooking!
Yes, those who know me well know how much I enjoy cooking! I was delighted when Lisa Coffelt offered me to contribute recipes for her women in horror cookbook.
Filmmakers, producers, actresses, special effects artists, and many other über talented women gathered their favorite recipes for food, drink and BLOOD! The profits from the sale of the book go to Project Get Safe. So you'll be learning more about women in horror while also supporting a great cause!
For more info about the book, click here.
You can order the book HERE.
If you do try out my recipes, let me know what you think! Who knows, maybe there will be a Quirk Films cookbook coming your way in the future... That's a project certainly worth considering!

New interview with Char Hardin
It's been almost a year since the first wickedly awesome Girl's Night Out podcast with Char Hardin, the lovely Soska twins and Hannah Neurotica.
I recently had another chat with Char, this time for her 'one-on-one' podcast where we talked about... well, everything!

WiHM Fright Bytes!
Women in Horror Month might be over as of today, but it doesn't mean we can't still talk about women and horror!
Toronto-based wonder woman Lianne Spiderbaby devoted episode 18 of Fright Bytes to this exact topic.
Check it out and keep your eyes open for a cameo by yours truly around 09:05:
