Yup, Red will have it's French premiere (in Grenoble, France) this coming Wednesday, January 18th at 2PM at the salle Juliet Berto. There will be a second screening on Saturday, January 21st at 4:30PM.
Those who have a good memory will remember that I flew in last year for the 2011 edition of the same festival where I presented a special selection of shorts directed by women, including Hollywood Skin and Snuff.
For more information, check out the festival's page for the film HERE.
Thank you to Sabine Garcia and Karel Quistrebert from the awesome festival des Maudits Films and go check it out if you can! :)

Kicking in the new year
For off, I want to wish everyone a happy new year! May 2012 be the filled with love, joy, prosperity, and anything else you want!
I feel this is going to be a very good year for Quirk Films; I already have two upcoming festival screenings for RED (to be announced soon) and I'll get to make my first feature film. Exciting!
As a way to kick things off, here's my latest article which I wrote for the Spectacular Optical web-magazine about cinephilia and my thoughts on the death of film (as in celluloid).
